I have a new So Here’s The Thing column up over at the Washington Times Communities! I’m bagging on Kate Gosselin for bagging on people with “regular jobs”:
Well. There you have it. Us regular-job types are falling short on providing the best for our kids. Yes, thanks to Kate’s trenchant insight, I realize that the co-op pre-school my son goes to, the shoes I picked up at DSW, and that cheeseburger at Five Guys were all a testament to my mediocrity. A mediocrity Kate will never have to confront because she is willing to transcend the ordinariness of working a “regular job” and whore her ass on tv and pimp the asses of her kids in much the same way.
Yeah. I said it. I called Kate Gosselin a kid-pimping reality-tv whore.

It’s funny, I should, but I don’t completely despise the Duggars, because even though they whore themselves out to reality TV, they were doing OK without it. In no way do I support the quiver movement, but they have paid their own way most of the time. And I do marvel that the mom’s uterus hasn’t just fallen out of her body. That really can happen, you know.
