Since several of the GOP field are total noobs at governance, I have a few questions I’d like them to answer in order to prove that they, ya know, understand the job of President. Without further ado, here is my list:
- Who is allowed to make laws?
- How does a bill become a law?
- Who has the power to appoint Supreme Court Justices?
- Is that an exclusive power or does anyone else get involved?
- How are government programs funded?
- How are agency rules promulgated?
- What do you mean “is promulgated a word”? It’s a word. Ask my policy professor from grad school.
- What rights are endowed by the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution?
- How are international treaties ratified?
- What constitutes an international treaty?
- Who has the power to declare war?
- List the positions in the President’s Cabinet.
- Who is Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces?
- What is the difference between the CIA and the FBI?
- Is there a religious requirement for being President?
- Does the United States have an official religion?
- What steps are required for amending the Constitution?
- Does the District of Columbia have voting representation in Congress?
- Did you just ask if the District of Columbia is part of America? You’re kidding right? That’s what DC stands for. Jesus, you’re an idiot, Donald.
- What are you going to do about me calling you an idiot? You can’t fire me. Oh, you’re calling me a loser? Real mature.
- Name the member nations of NATO.
- Name the member nations of NAFTA.
- What is the job of the Vice President?
- None of you are going to pick Sarah Palin for Vice President are you? Because that would be straight up trolling.
- Why do you even want to be President?
