New Column: What Am I Supposed To Talk About Now?

My lastest masterpiece is up on the Washington Times Communities website!

So here’s the thing: I’m boring.

OK, maybe I’m not totally boring. But I’m certainly not interesting on a wide scale. I lack the universal conversational appeal of Regis and Kelly. Or Matt and Savannah. Or Bert and Ernie.  I don’t cut easily through a wide swatch of topics, leaving witticisms and pleasant insights in my wake.

I’m more of a conversational snow-plow, clumsily shoving aside all subject but the ones I find interesting and comfortable.

To read the whole, brilliant thing click on over to the Times Communities!

There is more than my one interest and my kid to talk about? You are not boring, just find other like minded (not boring!!!!) moms and you’ll find each other incredibly fascinating and funny.
Or find a book club and talk about each other’s opinions over wine. Have more than a glass, then you’ll be sure to be entertaining. ;~)
